RANDOLPH, Ohio – April 3, 2017 – East Manufacturing is pleased to announce that it has received HDT’s 2016 Top 20 product award for its new integrated extruded aluminum side-rail system to accommodate a Double-L winch with flat-hook straps for cargo securement.

HDT’s Top 20 are this year’s “Best of the Best” new products for 2016, selected from hundreds of products and services introduced in the pages of HDT and/or on Truckinginfo.com. A panel of five veteran fleet maintenance professionals, who are all members of the ATA’s Technology & Maintenance Council (TMC), select the winners.

HDT’s 2016 Top 20 product selections are judged on innovation, the ability to address top industry issues and the potential to improve a fleet’s bottom line through maintenance savings or improvements in safety and fleet efficiency.

Available on both sides of the East Beast or Beast II flatbed trailer, the new side-rail system combines versatility and safety cargo handling, allowing the use of Double-L winches. The side rail maintains all of the standard features and benefits of East’s exclusive Securetight cargo control system.

East was honored in the February 2017 issue of HDT magazine. The award presentation, which identified East as a 2016 winner, took place at the TMC Annual Meeting in Nashville on February 27, 2017.
