The East design uses high-quality aluminum with 33% more yield strength than the industry standard. The unique 2-inch thick, double-wall extruded aluminum panels that are tongue-and-grove design, are robotically welded together, vertically inside and out for superior strength and resistance to twisting.

Proven Hallco® and Keith® moving floors ensure fast, efficient unloading with specifications matched to your needs. Our sub-frame with an integrated push block is designed for greater durability.
Competitive trailers rely on either a 4-sided tube or a U-shape extrusion (Fig. 3) for subdecking for live-floor support. East uses only the 4-sided tubular subdeck design to support all moving floors (Fig. 4), which is up to 70% stronger than U-shape extrusions.
For moving floors, a U-shaped extrusion lacks in structural support, and can flare out under pressure. When this happens, the UHMW bearings can wear out prematurely, causing the flooring slats to detach. This problem is often not detected until it’s too late for an easy repair.
The East external post Unloader has been a long-time leader in performance and durability. The 5¼-inch I-Beam cross member offers 30% more bending resistance than the 4-inch cross members that competitors use.
Standard Features
The subframe uses an 11-inch extruded aluminum I-beam, adding durability for strength and to reduce maintenance.
Inside bottom rail clean out facilitates efficient off-loading.
Twin access holes in the bulkhead provide plenty of room for technicians to work on live floor hydraulic systems, and to maneuver the necessary tools for the job.
Subframe has an integrated bumper with push block that’s designed for greater durability.
Top hinges and side=swing hinges are greaseable. Greaseable tailgate hardware is designed for longer life, reducing maintenance.
Landing gear features extra-wide wings, diagonal support braces and C-channel cross members to withstand
frequent shocks.
Fifth-wheel assembly is designed for maximum load-bearing strength with a stainless steel band to protect against galvanic corrosion.
